My Services
-
Medication can play a crucial role in managing mental health conditions, but it is only one piece of the puzzle. My medication management services include thorough assessments to determine if medication is appropriate for you. I work collaboratively with you to monitor your progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure the best outcomes. My approach emphasizes finding the right balance and minimizing side effects while supporting you in achieving mental wellness.
-
My psychotherapy incorporates different therapy modalities including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills based on your needs.
Psychodynamic therapy delves into understanding how your past experiences and unconscious patterns shape your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By uncovering these influences, we work together to foster greater self-awareness and emotional growth, helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.
CBT is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Through CBT, I focus on you build coping strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns, empowering you to make meaningful changes in your life.
DBT skills training focuses on improving emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. These tools are especially helpful for managing intense emotions and navigating challenging relationships.

I recognize the vital connection between physical and mental health. Recognizing this, I offer optional lab testing to explore nutritional, hormonal, and metabolic contributors to your symptoms. Labs may include Vitamin D, B12, folate, thyroid function, magnesium, and more. Functional nutritional testing helps identify imbalances in your body, such as vitamin or nutrient deficiencies that may be impacting your mental health. By understanding how these factors influence your overall well-being, you and I can create a personalized plan incorporating dietary recommendations, supplements, or lifestyle changes to optimize both your physical and mental health.
Note: Lab costs are separate. Patients may use their own insurance for lab fees.
What To Expect
At True Radiance Psychiatry, your journey begins with understanding you—your goals, your story, and the experiences that have shaped you. Here, you’re not just another name on a chart. You are the focus, and every aspect of your care is tailored to meet your unique needs.
Together, we’ll explore a comprehensive, 360-degree approach to your mental health. This might include medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle adjustments, nutritional supplements, meditation, other integrative techniques to support your overall wellness or a combination of the above. Each treatment plan is designed to align with your strengths while addressing any obstacles that may stand in your way. As part of my holistic approach, I may recommend lab testing or supplements to support your mental health. Routine labs ordered for medical monitoring can often be billed to insurance. However, specialized integrative lab testing and supplements are typically out-of-pocket expenses. Although I do take Aetna and Carelon insurance through Alma, insurance covers psychiatric visits/medication management only and not labs or supplements.
For those pursuing psychodynamic therapy, we’ll start with a 90-minute initial evaluation appointment. This longer session allows us to take the time needed to truly understand your story, your challenges, and your goals for treatment. This foundation ensures that our work together is deeply informed, effective, and aligned with your needs.
Whether you’re seeking support for managing daily stressors, uncovering deeper insights into your emotional patterns, or optimizing your mental health, I’m here to help you navigate your path toward healing and growth.
At True Radiance Psychiatry, you’ll find the time, care, and attention you deserve.

I currently accept Aetna insurance through my partnership with Alma. If you have another insurance plan, you may be able to use out-of-network benefits. Superbills can be provided upon request.

Of note, insurance covers psychiatric visits/medication management only, not labs or supplements.

While I am an out-of-network provider for those that do not have Aetna or Carelon insurance, I accept HSA and FSA cards. I am also happy to provide you with a superbill. You can submit the superbill to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
For an even faster way to do submit your superbill, you can go to the File Claims/Verify OON Benefits tab on this website to file your reimbursement claims or to verify your insurance’s out-of-network eligibility and benefits.
